The JoBu Group is a company that provides management consulting, outsourcing, and technology solutions for clients in Canada and across the globe.

Founded in 1995, the company was originally focused on developing websites for small business owners. At a time when the internet boom was hitting it's stride and web design companies were charging thousands of dollars, even for basic sites, many small business owners were left out of the picture.

The company then launched its first campaign for small business owners, offering a more strategic approach to web development by building sites in stages, and developing 'thin' sites with limited functionality, but allowed for growth in design. The objective was to provide the small business client with presence on the web, without significant capital contribution. With only a fax broadcast and long arduous hours of cold calling, the company steadily developed its client base, designing sites for as little as $100.00. The hard work soon paid off, with client referrals virtually reducing the marketing costs by as much as 50%, simply based on reduced cold calling time. Within a span of 18 months, the company would develop over 700 sites for actors, carpenters, trucking firms, and other consultants.

When the first internet bubble burst, many of the business owners simply discarded the internet as fad, and did not continue with their website programs. The ones who were left, however, were faced with the difficult task of firmly establishing and growing their online presence. The JoBu Group then began the second phase of its evolution, as a consulting company, providing expertise and guidance, and developing internet strategies for clients.

As our relationships with our clients grew, so did our business. The company steadily added new services to meet our client needs, from website design, copywriting, network administration, and even hardware sales. The focus then evolved from simply being a supplier to becoming the client's business partner by providing a comprehensive range of services, and deliver a full solution as a technology and marketing consulting company. The natural progression to the next stage in the company's growth was to provide outsourcing services to the current client base.

Simply put, Outsourcing is consulting on a much larger scale. The client reaps the benefits of access to a large labour force, to acheive a set of objectives without the capital costs of infrastructure, or training, as well as the usual burdens of payroll. The first steps into outsourcing for the company was with the roll out of the Live Chat Centre program in 2001. The company offered what was essentially an onine chat support services at minimal costs to clients, providing the full solution which including the chat software, and live personnel managing online FAQs. The success of the program led to the company's partnership development with outstanding outsourcing companies from all over the world, providing services such as call center solutions, data entry, sales force, and more.

In 2006, the JoBu Group will undergo a corporate re-organization, with the company splitting into two brands. The JoBu Group will remain as the parent company with focus on consulting, outsourcing and technology services. The Brand Kitchen will become the company's marketing and brand development company, with a strict focus on developing full campaign solutions for clients. The company's focus will now be geared towards continued delivery of outstanding solutions to clients, utilizing best-of-breed technology, to improve corporate efficiency.
