The JoBu Group is a company that provides management consulting, outsourcing, and technology solutions for clients in Canada and across the globe.

Founded in 1998, the company was originally focused on developing websites for small business owners. Over the years, the company has steadily grown by expanding its services beyond web design and providing a range of solutions to meet the client's needs.

The JoBu Group began the second phase of its evolution, as a consulting company, providing expertise and guidance, and developing internet strategies for clients. The focus then evolved from simply being a supplier to becoming the client's business partner by providing a comprehensive range of services, and deliver a full solution as a technology and marketing consulting company. The natural progression to the next stage in the company's growth was to provide outsourcing services to the current client base.

Simply put, Outsourcing is consulting on a much larger scale. The client reaps the benefits of access to a large labour force, to acheive a set of objectives without the capital costs of infrastructure, or training, as well as the usual burdens of payroll. Beginning with the Live Chat Centre program in 2001, the company began offering outsourced services to exisitng clients and steadily expanded the program by developing partnerships with excellent outsourcing companies from all over the world. The company now offers outsourced services such as call center solutions, data entry, sales force, and more.

The company's focus will now be geared towards continued delivery of outstanding solutions to clients, utilizing best-of-breed technology, to improve corporate efficiency.

Managing Performance -- that's The JoBu Group!

One of the most common questions asked of us is 'What does JoBu mean"?

Way back in 1995, the founding partners, John Estrada and Brian Lee, were faced with the dilemma of creating an design company brand that was unique and catchy, yet wouldn't be dismissed as a novelty when meeting with corporate clients. As a startup, the partners did not have the resources to solicit the services of big brand development firms, and we're ultimately forced into their first project -- coming up with the name for the company!

After an exhaustive name search that yielded lackluster results, the principals decided to take a break and watch a movie called 'Major League'. In this movie, one of the characters worships a voodoo doll named Jobu, and thus the company's name was born.

Over the years the company has evolved to target more corporate clients and have since changed the name to The JoBu Group. The name still sparks up conversations, and has always been great as icebreakers in networking and business meetings.

The JoBu Group continually searches for new ideas and innovative solutions, to provide a better service to our clients. If your company provides a service or product which may be an asset to our clients, we'd love to hear from you!
