TechnicPOS awards Sales and Marketing contract to The JoBu Group

Toronto, Canada, March 2006 – The JoBu Group continues to gain notoriety with the point-of-sale systems community with today’s announcement that it has been awarded a 3-year contract for developing and managing the Sales and Marketing programs for TechnicPOS, a POS systems reseller.

Since 1975, TechnicPOS has been a leading retailer of point-of-sale systems (POS) in the Greater Toronto Area market, and has steadily grown to become one of the largest POS resellers in Canada. With recent expansions to the island of Trinidad, and into the U.S. markets of New York and California, the company has decided to employ an aggressive campaign that will showcase the company’s next evolution, from reseller to a global distributor. Damian Campbell, President of TechnicPOS says, “We’re excited to have arrived at this stage of our growth plans, and we’ve decided that outsourcing is the most cost-effectively option for managing this growth.” Campbell adds, “The decision to outsource our entire Sales and Marketing department was simply a no-brainer. The JoBu Group already has the Call Center operations, and manpower to handle the task. On top of that, one of the principals has demonstrated capability and expertise in Channel marketing and development. This move allows us to stay focused on our local markets, without sacrificing our growth objectives.”

The JoBu Group provides comprehensive solutions for clients in various industries, and will be merging a suite of services to develop a custom solution for TechnicPOS. John Estrada, The JoBu Group’s Director of Marketing says, “This project will be an absolute showcase of the company’s capabilities. From the implementation of our Call Center solution that will be the backbone of the sales strategy, to our highly-effective SalesPatrol program that will focus on maintaining high-conversion rates, and right down to managing the print collateral with PrintSense, and ensuring that the client’s costing is always on budget. Our objective is to drastically exceed the client’s expectations by putting the full weight of our programs behind the project and the outcome should be one of our greatest milestones to date.’’

The contract commences in June 2006 and both companies expect an increase in revenue of over 300%, by the end of the term. Under the terms of the agreement, The JoBu Group will develop the U.S. market by creating channel program for TechnicPOS, and a specific end-user marketing campaign to support the new reseller channel.
